Dr. Mason R. Duff was selected to be a member of the UNLV Honors Clinic. He was eager to learn all that he could pertaining to dentistry and since graduation he has continued to expand his knowledge as much as possible. He enjoys attending Continuing Education courses and looks forward to attending many more throughout his career. He has shadowed several specialists, including an Endodontist, Periodontist, and Pedodontist which has allowed him to improve his technique as a general practitioner. Each day while driving to work, he listens to dental podcasts and he is excited about Dentistry and he is committed to being an exceptional dentist!
Before attending dental school, he worked for 3 years as a dental assistant. This allowed him to familiarize himself with dental offices and cemented his desire to become a dentist. His experience as a dental assistant gave him valuable insight into the inner workings of a dental office.
He genuinely cares about each patient and recognizes the importance of communicating effectively and clearly. His ability to speak Spanish fluently enhances effective communication. He is committed to providing each patient with the best care possible, while also making sure that their experience is pleasant.
Dr. Robert Riegel was born and raised on a farm in Western Kansas. Dr. Riegel graduated from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry in 1968. He practiced general dentistry in Kansas City before moving to Los Angeles in 1970 where he continued to practice general dentistry in the West Covina area.
In 1980, Dr. Riegel returned to UMKC to take specialty training in Prosthodontics, dental treatment that involves the use of crowns (caps), bridges, removable partial and full dentures, and implants.
After he finished his graduate studies at UMKC, Dr. Riegel completed a hospital residency at UCLA where he treated head and neck cancer patients. Upon completion of all his specialty training, Dr. Riegel accepted a part time teaching position with Loma Linda University School of Dentistry and remained in private practice in Diamond Bar, Hollywood and Long Beach prior to assuming a full time professorship at Loma Linda in 1990. He was in charge of teaching complete dentures and removable partial dentures to the University's dental students. During his last five years at Loma Linda he was Section Chief of Removable Prosthodontics. Dr. Riegel was also involved in creating a program for teaching post-graduate dentists who wanted to specialize in prosthetic and implant dentistry.
In 2000, Dr. Riegel resigned his full time position at Loma Linda and moved to Las Vegas where he opened a private practice that specialized in dentures and implant placement.
In 2008, he established a second practice in Western Riverside CA. Dr. Riegel continues to practice his specialty while his associates practice general dentistry.
A native of San Diego, California, Dr. Alemi attended San Diego State University for his undergraduate studies prior to accepting early admission into UCSF School of Dentistry. After practicing as a general dentist for 3 years, Dr. Alemi pursued advanced studies and training by completing a 3 year residency in Prosthodontics at the John D. Dingell VAMC and University of Michigan School of Dentistry. Having served as a clinical instructor and lecturer in the field of dental implants, Dr. Alemi provides implant, cosmetic, full mouth reconstructions, smile makeovers and advanced dental services for our patient. He holds professional affiliations with the ADA, American College of Prosthodontics (ACP), Academy of Osseointegration (AO), American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (AAFP), California Dental Association (CDA), and Southern Nevada Dental Association (SNDA). Outside of the dental office, he enjoys traveling, dining and hiking.
